Google Tasks
Add a task to a list from any point in your workflow
Tasks is a small integration in Docxster's workflow builder. It does one job: it adds a task to a list. Use it when your workflow decides a person needs to act next, so that need does not get missed.
How it works

Your workflow can add a task to a list at any point in its run. When a step decides a person needs to follow up, review something, or take an action the workflow can't complete on its own, that need shows up as a task. It does not sit as a note buried in a log.
Tasks is one action, not a set of triggers. That makes it the last step in most chains. A document gets processed, a condition gets checked, and if something needs a person, the workflow adds a task for them to pick up.
Where this is useful
Freight and logistics operations
A rate confirmation that doesn't match the agreed rate on your rate sheet can add a task for someone on your team to check it. Your team sees the exception in a list instead of hunting for it.
Customs brokers
A commercial invoice with a declared value that looks off can add a task for a broker to review before filing. The check lands on a person's list instead of depending on someone spotting it.
Lending and mortgage
A loan file flagged for manual review adds a task for the processor responsible. Your team does not rely on someone noticing the flag.
Manufacturing and procurement
A purchase order that doesn't match expected terms adds a task for someone to check it by hand. Your procurement team gets a clear item to work through.
